sims 4 cannot make changes outside owned area

Obviously, that?s not all it does (seriously, every day you learn something new), but that is what the mod is best known for. You can not build in the common areas (around the elevator and other apartment doors) and you can not edit the windows or the external doors. I would much rather use this cheat than go through all the trouble of moving the sim out, go in to lot, change the zoning, go to neighborhood, go back in to lot, make changes, change the zoning, go back to neighborhood, go back in to check lot is still okay, go back to neighborhood, move family in. the options are endless.
