A 409-acre Gold Coast estate and arboretum that was once the home of insurance magnate William Robertson Coe. The Tudor Revival mansion Coe Hall (1918–1921), designed by Walker & Gillette, is open for tours. The grounds contain one of the finest collections of ornamental trees and shrubs on the East Coast, including a renowned camellia greenhouse collection. Designated a National Historic Landmark. Free grounds access in winter; fees in season.
